Where do you do your best thinking?

If you’re like most of us, you’re not thinking all that well at your office desk, in a conference room or anywhere else at work.

Only about 10% of office workers do their best thinking at work, according to Dr. David Rock, Director of the NeuroLeadership Institute.

Considering how much time we spend at work, we’re underusing an enormous volume of brainpower. Just think how much more productive we could be if we did at least half our best thinking at work.

Yet the office environment consistently hinders, not helps, high-quality thinking. Instead, we’re coming up with great ideas while we shower, drive, run, bicycle or take part in other activities that inspire us.
